Cold

Cold
The nights are cold and dark, at least there’s something to hold while you cry.

This drawing was inspired by a seal(?) plushie my parents dug up, which I posed with Blizzard. It was quite a struggle to keep the plushie from dropping when I supported it with the puppet’s arms. But on looking at the picture, I noticed how distressed and sad Blizzard looked as he clutched the plushie with all his might. That made me think: What situation would render such a reaction from Blizzard, sending him to cuddle his plushie sadly?

Blizzard would be stuck in the mines, begging for a way to get out. A cave-in had occured, trapping him farther down below than he’d ever want to be. Trying to tunnel his way out would be unfeasible, summoning ice would not help in the slightest, and there’s no food in a cave aside from bugs and tunnelling animals. With no hope in sight, Blizzard does the one thing he can do left: Grabbing his plushie, he slides down to the floor and silently sobs, waiting for escape to make itself known.
